Pet Therapy
Rehabilitation and complementary therapy clinic

Pet Therapy was established in 2005 as a unique pain and rehabilitation facility based in Kinning Park, Glasgow. Staffed by experts in rehabilitation and pain relief, our team is dedicated to helping improve the quality of life of animals suffering from mobility issues and chronic pain, such as osteoarthritis, cruciate ligament disease, hip and elbow dysplasia, spinal and neurological problems, muscle and tendon injuries and obesity. We can also design fitness programmes for both pets and canine athletes.
Pet Therapy is run by Lesley Herd BVMS, CCRP, MRCVS. Lesley is the only person in Scotland to hold the Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner post-graduate qualification awarded by the University of Tennessee which is regarded as the leading veterinary rehabilitation centre in the world.

Take a tour of the clinicSuccess Stories
Since 2005, the clinic has seen a huge number of cases giving us many successes and a wealth of clinical experience to draw upon. Our success stories cover a range of cases, from animals that have been in car accidents and started their treatment unable to walk and completed it by running around like nothing had ever happened, to post operative dogs in need of physiotherapy.
We are always over-joyed when we see your pets make such dramatic progress through therapy, so we have shared a few cases with you.
